Firewalking & Traditional Hand Tattooing
The name "Glöd-(German for "Glut")-Gang" describes the walk through fire – firewalking and tattooing have been part of our human history, culture, and self-expression for millennia. Firewalking is one of the most archaic ways to connect with the element of fire. All over the world, people have lit and continue to light fires to warm themselves, cook, celebrate, and perform rituals. One of these rituals is the "firewalk." Similarly, tattooing is an archaic, millennia-old, and transformative ritual and a symbol of strength, belonging, and self-expression, and is considered one of the initiation rites in many cultures.
The intention behind such a personal experience can vary greatly from person to person. It might be to connect with nature, strengthen the sense of community within a group, overcome oneself, quit smoking, lose weight, push one's boundaries, or become one with the element of fire. Let your thoughts flow freely and unfold your potential.
You will become a firewalker and leave this experience with your small but powerful, traditionally hand-tattooed symbol under the open sky!
