This pendant was found in a silverhoard on Öland, Sweden. The woman is holding a drinkinghorn, and the motiv reminds of Valkyrias that welcome fallen worriors to Valhall with a horn of mead. From her clothes and hair we can learn some about the viking way of dressing. The original piece was casted in silver and can be seen at the Historical Museum, Stockholm, Sweden. It dates back to the 10 th century.
Our replica is a pendant made of silver 925, the height is 28 mm
